ABN AMRO’s Corporate Finance business includes mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory and equity capital markets (operating through the ABN AMRO Rothschild joint-venture). ABN AMRO has built up significant industry expertise through the creation of world-wide industry teams. This sector focus has led to a leading cross-border advisory capability. Throughout the year we are looking for high profile interns for our Mergers & Acquisitions team in Frankfurt. As an intern you will have the opportunity to work on several aspects of M&A pitches and transactions within different industry sectors. You will work in an international, dynamic and challenging environment. Assignments will include conducting basic industry research, assisting in company valuation and financial modeling, preparing information memoranda and preparing client presentations. You will actively participate in departmental activities and, where possible, you will be given client exposure. During your internship, you will gain a sound understanding of the Corporate Finance business and investment banking in general.
We are looking for students who can combine intellect with entrepreneurial spirit, initiative with strong social skills and teamwork with drive and energy. Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite. Successful applicants should be available for a period of at least two months.
